Manifesto: The Workshop 2008, A Musical Stage Reading

Twenty@620 present a new piece of musical theater.

It's the turn of the century in Ireland and things are changing throughout the Island. Restless from years of British rule, Irish Patriots begin to stand up to take back their homeland. Jack Gerreghty doesn't think fighting is the answer, until he meets the love of his life, Rachel.

Beginning 16 years before the Easter Rising, Manifesto tells a story of a battle for a country that refuses to give up and a love that cannot be defeated.

Presented in a workshop format with a string quartet, Manifesto will be an opportunity to see new musical theatre that will be followed by a brief talkback with the Composer/Playwright and Company.
