You’ll hear tunes that enlivened the Broadway stage, nightclubs, the speakeasies, the backstreet bars, show tents and bawdy houses of the 1920s, ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Composers include Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Gus Kahn, Walter Donaldson, and Rodgers and Hart, and some legendary cocktail party parodies laced with lyrical lust.
